First one the desal plant was a test/prototype, and had been in operation for only a short period of time. It's purpose was to evaluate a method of helping So. Calif. live with less water coming from No. Calif. or the Colorado River - all this back in 1962. It didn't take long to dis-assemble the plant and ship it to Gitmo. Former CV-34, the USS Oriskany, is now tied up along the seawall at She entered the SF Bay this morning (about 2 hours earlier than her She tied up at MINSY this evening (May 1) at about 2000, so I'm told. We have good training and capabilities in all aspect of Naval warfare (which only 2-3 navies can claim that). CV ops, ASW, AAW, Submarine ops. We have a complete navy. The Jap Navy is nothing but a few destroyers, albeit new and expensive. Germans don't have much more. The Israeli Navy is just a few missile boats, not even a single destroyer. Will Canada have a navy in 5 years or will it join its airborne brigade. The Indian Navy is quite capable of taking on and defeating É necessário Acessar antes de postar mensagens.
