AIUI, the systems in the U.S. and Canada don't deal with ideology until the post-secondary level, and few students bother with poli-sci (I know I didn't except for an intro course). Marxist analysis is démodé (post- structuralism would seem to be the flavour of the age) and seems only to be taught in seminars. -- Andrew Chaplin SIT MIHI GLADIUS SICUT SANCTO MARTINO (If you're going to e-mail me, you'll have to get "yourfinger." out.)

Cite about Clinton. and tell Billy Mitchell it was okay for him to mouth off, to name a famous case.

If Obama is "Marxist", then Canada's current Conservative Party Prime Minister is "Marxist". Sheesh. I don't know that is lack of education on their part so much as fear. Americans tend to be conservative in their mindset. With this conservatism comes fear of (dramatic) change. OTOH, I keep hearing these conservative (right-wing) Americans utilizing the "Where is the change Obama promised" mantra as among their justifications to bring him down. From an outsider's POV, it's an interesting phenomenon.

"Liberal" lost its punch, "Marxist" has a nice historical ring to it.

Yes, it installs even *more* fear in the minds of those afraid of "liberals".

no, a vocal minority who listen to Faux news think that. but they make for good TV bites so their effect and numbers are exagerated.
and as for Dithering, Cheney admitted at the same dinner he accused Obama of taking too much time on Afghanistan that his administration didn't put much thought into the war until the FALL OF 2008. so who exactly were the ditherers? republicans are liars. pure and simple.

everything about this guy relates to his being a Muslim. if he was a Christian or an Athiest he wouldn't have had any of the issues that pushed him over the edge.

FOX News is the No. 1 (read that: top rated) cable news network in the US. That does not sound like a small "minority" of Americans.

There is no way to know. Unless he comes right out and tells you. And I don't think he is prepared to do that.

defending the acts of the enemy and advocating suicide bombings is not expressing religious belief. and Religious beliefs have limits, advocating human sacrifice or underage sex gets you in trouble. the fringe Mormon leader Rulon Jeffs was chased all over and his son Rulon Jeffs was just sentenced to 10 years in prison for "ading and abetting" underage sex with girls who were married to older men they claim this is a religious right and biblically sanctioned. all "rights" have limits.Property rights? hah! don't pay your taxwes and see what you "own".

He could be a deep cover long term sleeper.
In which case he's performed admirably for his masters...

Yeah I like your concept of circular firing squads and how you're eating your young. How about the NY race? or how the governorship is shaping up in Texas. Jeez, that's going to be about as funny as Kinky Freedman running for governor. And you know what, the state is in such a mess I wished he would have won.

Point conceded. Innocent people get labeled by the press as guilty all the time.

Item 2 in Bill of Non-Rights:
"You do not have the right to never be offended. In this country, freedom of speech is a constitutionally guaranteed right for everyone, not just you. You may express a different opinion, change channels, leave the room, etc.; but the world is full of idiots and probably always will be."

. you're talking at best 3% of TV viewers and Faux has the highest negatives among all viewers. all the nuts go to Faux while the rational people are split.among the Broadcast networks MSNBC and CNN. so number 1 cable news still doesn't get many viewers all the cable news trail ESPN by a good margin.

Sure there is, step up and do the job he got elected to do.
The campaign is over, he need to stop running around feuding with media outlets and be the president.

When you have designated patients, you are their case manager. You are in charge of the cases that you handle. You are in charge of managing their files, their treatment plans, and followup. Period.

What you both are missing is that Marxist is a very dirty word here. I doubt most people that use the term truly believe he is. Just as those that call him a dirty c**k-sucker don't really profess to know of any such encounters or the cleanliness of the moment...
