Hello everyone Down Under,
As you might have heard, last nite was a bit rough for me. You see, I
faced a man whom the American press had given no chance to win our fight.
Why did they do this? Surely the TKO loss to Quartey last year had
something to do with it. But that isn't the end of the world. After all,
Ike is the best welterweight in the world. The fact that Phillips' bombs
had no effect on his chin shouldn't have been interpretted as a lack of
power on Vince's part. I rather doubt that anyone-including Trindidad-can
beat Ike. No, my downfall was something that should have been foreseen
based on my porous defence and lack of boxing skills. The American fools
bought that act that I can really box. That's one of the advantages of
fighting in Australia, where it's difficult for the average American fight
fan to see my matches. If they had, they would have seen me struggle with
Mayweather, and eat a bunch of hard punches from Bergman before my power
rescued me.
   My dear fans, I've been exposed as a plodding puncher who refuses to
keep my hands near my face. However, it's not too late for me to regroup
and make a serious run at the title again, perhaps even land a de la Hoya
fight. However, if I'm to get back into the thick of things, I must
swallow my pride and accept that I must:
 1. Learn to jab. All good boxers have this ability.
 2. Protect my head by keeping my hands above my waist during my
opponent's flurries.
 3. Perhaps hire a new trainer. I recall that Jeff Fenech made a similar
statement in justifying his hiring of Emanual Steward. I must investigate
this possibility, too.
     In conclusion, thank you for all your support. I'll learn from this
lesson and attempt to avoid any sort of result in the future. I have the
talent and desire-all I need is the proper training.

you up on your bet for any amount on the                     Tszyu
fight.Remember there was no way Phillip's was going to win.              
               This was no upset if you really watched when Tszyu was
beaten                  to a pulp by Hector Lopez  or when he struggled
with Roger Mayweather.                       Not a surprise to me.Hat's
off to Vince Phillip's!

well i guess that after seeing him get knocked out, i'm not impressed !!!!
Tszyu was supposed to be better than "old" man Chavez, but after seeing
him eat all those right hands by Philips, no way he woulda beat Chavez !!!
Chavez woulda wore out Tszyu even quicker than Philips. If Philips hurt
Tzsyu , could you imagine what Chavez woulda done ?????  And to think that
The Ring had Tszyu ahead of Chavez and Gonzalez in their PFP ratings !!!
Man, i'm glad i never had my hopes that high on Tszyu !!! This was my 1st
time seeing him and he didn't impress me at all ,even before Philips
knocked him silly !! Oscar De La Hoya woulda been wanted for manslaughter
if they woulda fought !!!
