Hello,

I have a picture of old boxing gloves and I was wondering if it had any
importance.  The gloves shown are the old leather type and about the
only real thing that would make them unique is that the right hand glove
has 4 sets of eyelets (as in how it's tied together like a shoe) and the
left glove has 5 eyelets.  I thought this was kind of strange...

Where there any old pros who were known for this?  Or maybe it was some
kind of superstitious thing?  Or maybe it's just two old gloves.  :)

For all the Chris Byrd bashers who have Tim Witherspoon in their top
ten, they should know that Spoon backed out of a Byrd fight last year
