1. MSG security would not let us form a line for the drop in the
morning/early afternoon
2. wonderful fans organized a sign-up list for folks showing up to
the drop line so we could form an orderly line when MSG gave us the
thumbs-up to line up
3. MSG security personnel changed shifts through the course of the
afternoon
4. by the time it came to form a line, the security barked that they
"don't honor lists" and it was a massive free-for-all with a ton of
shoving, I'm surprised nobody got hurt as security tried to shoehorn
us into a single file line
5. by my estimate, only about 50 people from the drop line got in
before the show started
6. I was in the next group that waited in the front for at least an
hour and into the start of the show...I got in during SANDY...folks in
front of me got seats on the lower level in the back, some got GA, I
got lucky and got a ticket in section 81...I know some folks behind me
also got in late, but I don't know how many
SO...you never know if the drop tonight will be bigger, but last night
it was pretty tiny
Good luck!
