Office 2007 updates

I am helping a neighbor and everytime we try to install the Windows updates
all of the updates for Office 2007 fail. She has purchased the full version
and we have activated Word and Excel. Why are they failing each time.?

Have tried doing a repair on the install via the Programs and Features
applet in the control panel?
You also might consider doing an uninstall/reinstall of Office 2007.

Hello!
Why does not anybody reply?
The problems are:
Clicking "Change" and "Uninstall" buttons in "Programs and features" with
Office 2007 Trial selected gives an error "Setup Error
Setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your
systm administrator." in Windows 7 x64.

I believe I have discovered a serious problem with

Solved! What I had installed was the English SP2. It was solved after
uninstalling it in favor of a localized SP2 (in the language of my Office's
GUI).
So much for globalism.

Your steps are just the right steps. I did nothing further. Obviously it
doesn't happen to most users or it would have been a famous bug. But it did
happen in numerous computers and already surfaced around these forums months
ago.

I installed microsoft office 2007 on my computer while it had the windows xp
os. No I have upgraded to windows 7 and when I try to open word, excel,
access, power point or publisher i get an error message that sayz I don't
have enuff memory, yet I have 99.1 gb of free space on my hard drive. Is
there a patch I can download to make the office suites open again?

For what its worth, I am unable to duplicate your issue. Here is what I
tried 3 times with no luck to end up in your situation...
1) Install Windows XP with SP3 (Volume License media)
2) Install Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise (Volume License media)
3) Install SP2 for MS Office 2007
4) Started Microsoft Word 2007 and then checked under the Orb > Save As and

Who told you to go to EggHead Cafe for Windows 7? They were wrong. I would
suggest you get the help of someone more computer-literate and read the
documentation that came with your computer. Somewhere in there is the
information for how to get Win7.
