  Have tried doing a repair on the install via the Programs and Features &lt;br&gt; applet in the control panel? &lt;br&gt; You also might consider doing an uninstall/reinstall of Office 2007.

  Solved! What I had installed was the English SP2. It was solved after &lt;br&gt; uninstalling it in favor of a localized SP2 (in the language of my Office&#39;s &lt;br&gt; GUI). &lt;br&gt; So much for globalism.

  Your steps are just the right steps. I did nothing further. Obviously it &lt;br&gt; doesn&#39;t happen to most users or it would have been a famous bug. But it did &lt;br&gt; happen in numerous computers and already surfaced around these forums months &lt;br&gt; ago.
