While this may not satisfy you, I have noticed that translating
Serbian into Croatian in many cases just transliterates. So, it may be
acceptable for you to translate into Serbian, and then into Croatian,
and possibly fine-tune the output translation.
Of course, this would look silly if used completely automatically
through API, but I think this is the closest you can get without
writing transliteration software (which shouldn't be complex anyway,
just a big table, besides you should be able to easily find finished
code around the intarwebz).
