Since some days ago I've been working at times on 'My English
Toolbar', which might be a essential tool for some of us. At the time
being, it's just a work in progress and can be downloaded from here:
The toolbar was created using the Conduit service that I mentioned
some few weeks ago. It's a time-consuming activity that involves a
careful evaluation and revision of each selected site or resource, as
well as, the time one spend getting the associated icons, thinking on
a good short description (the hint line), and using the conduit web
tool, which is great but not so flexible, because for instance, you
can't move sub-menus, so when you want to relocate a menu or link
sometimes you have to recreate them.
Well, at the moment, the toolbar already contains a fair number of
useful resources. I think I might have a finished first version by
Christmas time ;) LOL And I would love to hear your comments and
suggestions. If you have a good link, please tell me. It would be
included in the toolbar as long as it is a good one. You know, there
lots of resources for English learners in Internet, so the idea is to
be the more selective possible.
For instance, this week we could review the list of provided radio
stations in the toolbar. Do you have a suggestion for a talk radio
station to add/remove? In any case, everyone is free to add your own
radio stations. That's one of the good things of Conduit toolbars. The
other one, and what makes it work, it's the fact that the toolbar keep
updated automatically, I mean, the owner of the toolbar can make
changes (in this case, me) and in just a few minutes or hours, the
changes are replicated in the users's toolbars. Well, manually you can
select the option 'Refresh the toolbar' available from the left menu
(labeled "Eng").
Pablo, I want to thank you for that toolbar. It is incredible. I forwarded it to my students so they can make use of it. It is really an amazing job you've done.

Oh my goodness,Pablo!
I am astonished by all the diversified resources you have put so much
time and efforts on since day one!!!
The feedback you expect from me,I suppose, should be:
what other links can you add to them to make it even more abundant
and user-friendly,shouldn't it?
I fall at your feet literarily...our master!;)
Such a databank,so many of us can benefit from!
Thank you so much!!!
And thank God you have completely recovered from that vicious flu!
Wonderful week ahead of you and everyone who's dedicated to their
work,studies or any other passions!

Pln, with reference to your issue, I can tell your a lot of advantages, you know that is a better way to communicate with peoples from all over world, exchange useful information to help the local people who could not go aboard to enlarge their view and so on. But maybe some local governments will consider some foreign teachers will take some job opportunities so that their local people couldn't. But I'll such government is short sight.
Dear Pln Pablo Claire Oshiro and Jason C Chaya and all,
I really failed to catch up the quick change here. I have just come back
from the long business trip. Nice to meet you again :-)
With the Claire’s question, I have no much opinions to give for
discussion because I haven’t learnt with a indigenous teacher before.
However, I guess that it seems interesting. It is easier for you to
learn the slang and idiom that are used in street and daily life as well
as words and respectful writing skills in the official documents. As I
know, English is a language with many synonym words and its meaning
changes in a particular circumstance.
This sometimes causes me a little confuse to choose the appropriate
words. By the way, anybody give me a help or tips for resolving the
obstacles?
Thank Claire again about this useful toolbar. A lot of things combined
in one bring an easy and comfortable usage. I concerned it took you how
much of time and energy to do such a wonderful thing like this. Your
work is related to software program, isn’t it?
