Warm welcome,Illustrator Eduardo and all who would like to talk to
better your fluency with me or others!;)
If you'd like to take part in the group chat, you'll need to post your
Skype account name.
Then we can add you as our contacts, and start chatting with you when
you're online on Skype.
It will be even better if any of you let others know when you're more
often online.
In doing so,you will more likely meet us without waiting for too
long!;)
Mine is as my gmail account:pln471
Great week ahead,everyone!
Pln
P.S.Jason,just open your Skype,on the very top right corner on the
same line with your Skype Id,you'll see an oval shape with
instruction'+Add people'.
When, for instance, you'd like to talk with Charles and me at the same
time, just click on'+Add people' and select Charles from your contact
list and put him in the 'people in this group'box, then we will both
show up on your screen under your Skype Id.

Another Eduardo in the group! And Brazilian, it´s such a big coincidence.
Welcome to the group where you´ll be able to practice much your English
writing and speaking as well, since you engage in some of the group voice
chats Pln has set up. (I still haven´t taken part of it yet).
I took a glance at your personal website and really enjoyed your work.
Congrats!
Like you, I´m a Brazilian too. You may have noticed that there are some
Brazilian fellows here.

It is a pleasure to meet you, and imagine that you are a person very happy
with their work and live in a wonderful city like Rio de Janeiro.
Congratulations to all for winning the 2016 olympics.
How is working on a network such as the Record.

In short, I create images that is passed by creative director for
advertising agencies, in order to portray a scene he imagined for your
product/customer, can be anything from a can of beer to complex scenes and
it would be impossible to create in real life.

You´re welcome. I´m from Sao Paulo and work as an IT consultant.
So, regarding the corrections, let´s wait for Pln or Chaya reply, because
they are the most appropriate members to make them, they are ESL teacher.
Look how lucky we are, we have teachers here at the group!
Don´t be shy of doing mistakes, everybody here are learning too.

Hi,all my dear friends,
I come back to our big warm family!
Well, during these days, for finishing the wave of homework ,I spent
lots of time to read documents. And although I don’t finish
assignments completely, I really need to have a break to return our
group, because, if absent, it seems to lack of colour to the dull
routine of everyday life!
Pln, I try to keep balance as you have said, but it is difficult.
Yesterday, when I heard my tutor said it was just the preludge to a
long and short future life, I was nearly faint. Every day ,I must
muster up courage to face the overwhelming homework. A-oh, it seems
that not everybody has the ability to freely translate between life
and study or work.
Well, Oshiro, I am sorry to be late for partaking your happy tour.
Well, could I enjoy some your beautiful pictures?
Well, Ali and Eduardo, nice to meet you. Warm welcome to our big
family!
now ,maybe I have to leave, the call from monitor seems so
bother,hehe...
Have a good day to dear Claire Pln Jun Charles Jason Oshiro Ed Ali
Paulo Chaya and all the members,
vera
P.S.For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the winter is
coming,so take care!;)

Of course you can. But can you believe I haven´t chosen the pictures yet? I
was suffering from the jet-lag Pln mentioned before. I promise in some days
I´ll have the pictures for those of you who wants to see them. :)
Good luck in you homeworks!

Hello
Eduardo,Paulo,Ali,Ed,Charles,Oshiro,Vera,Claire,Chaya,Simone,Jun,Jason,Gail
and all rare comers who dropped by to welcome new members,;)
Sorry, guys and girls that I have been reading here more than
responding to you all!
There's another community of my net acquaintances and real life
students on facebook which keep me occupied,as well!;)
Eduardo,Paulo and Ali,please come as often as you can as Claire asked
you to,too!
We curious cats always look forward to new faces, voices and feedbacks
from members from all parts of the world.
You 3 have very different occupations from the rest of us,and I,for
one, love to know more about your work and life if possible.
Vera,I was asking Jason about your well-being yesterday, and you kept
your promise to him to update us on your current studies...Thank
you,you poor girl!;)
There are sacrifices to be made if you think it's worthy of it before
reaching your goals or dreams.
Try to do one thing, even though how simple or tiny it may seem,to make
yourself happy...just for a few minutes!
You need it to remain sane!;)
And Oshiro, despite your jet lag,you have been quite active much to my
amazement!!!
I admire you for that,my old friend!
Going back to your CAE Exam,I talked to my ex-student,Lukasz,who is a
member here as well to offer his tips to you and other BEC Vantage
Exam Participants like Jason.
He passed his Bec Vantage with great results this June and is learning
in my language centre now in a group to pass the exam next June!
I'll ask which textbook he uses in the course as soon as possible and
let you know!;)
Great day, everyone at work,at studies or at whatever you do!

Pln, two weeks ago I ordered a book from Amazon called 'Objective CAE',
a Cambridge press book. I had made some researches and they said this is one
of the best options for this porpouse. I´m just waiting the delivery.
My intention is to study for this exam to take it until February or March.
It´d be good if Lucasz can give me some tips and share his experience with
me and others of the group, so I will be able to figure out how many
days/months I need to focus on that. From what I have heard, it takes about
4 months to study to this certification test.
Thanks for your support!
Is the another community an English one? You must be very busy LOL

I talked to Lukasz 2 days ago when he and his wife came for my
optional conversation class.
They use CAE Gold Plus Exam Maximiser with key and audio by Longman
Pearson in his group.
He mentioned that they just finished Unit 1,so he still has no
specific opinion of the book yet.:(
I used to use FCE Gold Exam Maximiser for FCE group and I found it
very effective to better prepare students for FCE.
If it's possible, download it from rapidshare.
SET THE TIMER and do at least 1 test of Reading,Lsitening & Writing a
week as to best prepare yourself to the time limit and the format of
the exam.
Good luck and if there's anything else you need to know, just ask me!
I often run into Lukasz's teacher on the hallway.I'll ask tips and
advice from him,as well if he has guided any other students before.:)
Good night and don't worry too much about your mistakes,Ali or
Eduardo.
I can correct some major mistakes, but the minor ones will disappear
automatically sooner or later.;)

I´ll try to download this book from rapidshare. Practice is the best way to
get used to the exam, right!
I just received Lucasz´s email that you forwarded me and I just have to
thank you for that. I´ll exchange some messages with him during my studies.
It´s always good to have someone on whom we can count, specially to share
experiences and tips, as soon as he has already taken the exam.
I still haven´t officially started studing for the test, I´m just waiting
for my book to be delivered.
