I am looking for an old Winamp skin named Classic Marantz.  It used to
be very popular but now I can't find it at Winamp or somewhere on the
Internet.

If someone has it, could you post a link ?

I've been using winamp ever since napster first appeared on the scene
(ah those heady days) and to this day I use probably one of the later
versions of winamp but with the same old classic skin.

However since it's been so long I was wondering what software all you
guys were using? Is there something better than winamp around now?

Small issues I have with winamp are you can't go straight to the folder
containing the mp3 directly from the playlist (annoying but not the end
of the world) and sometimes the file is in the library but when you
click it, it doesn't play even though the file will play directly (this
is very rare though).

Some really cool functionality I'd like are being able to sort music by
erm beat rate? That's not the technical term but you know like how fast
or slow it is. That would be cool when putting together compilations in
the car. Actually what would also be helpful is being able to produce a
playlist of a whole load of your songs, select how many hours/minutes
of music you want for the compilation then winamp would come back with
a random subset from that playlist sorted in 'beat rate' order or even
better sorted in a beat rate pattern like slow songs getting faster
towards mid compilation then slowing down towards the end of the
compilation. (Even better than that would be to be able to select a
track and swap it out randomly with a track of equal beat rate).

I didn't say I wasn't fussy! With an 80Gig mp3 collection there are a
lot of possibilities, just need software that caters to these sorts of
scales!

Does anyone know of any good MP3 playing software that they'd reccomend
generally? Are these sorts of functionality only available in open
source mp3 players?
