What I need is a software program that goes beyond that level, and taps
into my Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy soundcard's audio streams and
Boosts them up; exponentially if possible. The reason that I have this
need is because I have a few movies on DVD that were, for whatever
reason(s), not recorded using high enough volume settings for My Taste
   8v)     and I need to Boost the sound coming from them through the
DVD program I use called PowerDVD, (And sometimes I use Window's Media
Player as well), so that I can enjoy them at the volume I need to hear
them at to get the Maximum Satisfaction level out of them audibly.

I have tried tricking-out ALL of my hardware and have adjusted and
re-adjusted it all several times trying to get the maximum out of it's
capabilities, but to no avail unfortunately.

Now, I know that there are limits to the amount of amplifying I can
safely do to the sound data streams coming from my soundcard as far as
pushing it to distortion is concerned, but perhaps if there was some
program out there if not for sound cards, but then for DVD drives that
could be used to amplify the sound datas coming from my DVD drive's
sound output channels, that would work too.

Is there anyone out there that could Please advise me as to where to
get such a software-based utility, (If one even exists)? I sure could
use your help if you can, hehe!! Thanks everyone for your time!!

(The only help I can really offer you with dynamic compression is if you decide to rip those DVD's to AVI.)

First, I have about a Gig/day habit of downloading porn.  The best
explanation for doing so is "because I can"  Anyway, this is way too
much to be able to watch in a life time so, to try to keep up, I watch
two at a time.

I take a screen shot of my place in the films when I turn off the
computer.  When I start the movies up again, I load the bmp of the
screen to see the timer.

A interesting thing happens.  The first movie I load will play in
Winamp, but it also plays inside the bmp!  The image that was on the
screen shot is replaced by the movie running in Winamp.

And your BMP doesn't contain an image from the video at all: just a single colour (probably fuschia).
