  Yeah, I&#39;ve gotta have Access too. From the site it says you have to have &lt;br&gt; a valid Windows license. If you have a valid Windows license, why not &lt;br&gt; run virtualbox or vmware? I&#39;m running Access over a Win7 RC through &lt;br&gt; virtualbox. EZ setup.

  If you *must* use Windows, a better option is to install it in a VM and &lt;br&gt; run Access from inside that. As it is a full install of Redmonds best, &lt;br&gt; you shouldn&#39;t have any issues. &lt;br&gt; As a developer I would not consider running a Windows program in Wine &lt;br&gt; (Windows is already flaky enough).

  Just run GIMP on it&#39;s own virtual desktop and the other application on another &lt;br&gt; virtual desktop. Myself I run different application on different virtual &lt;br&gt; desktops, that way they don&#39;t mess up with each other. &lt;br&gt; You can build your own scripts to do things for you, never done that myself as &lt;br&gt; I don&#39;t do much with GIMP more than resize and sometimes add some small things.
